The Basics: the word Kairos means, "God's time" or "deep time." It is time not bound by the clock (chronos time). The retreat is built on the theology of St. Ignatius of Loyola and his "spiritual exercises." At its core it is an exploration fo the two great commandments: "Love God with your heart, mind, soul and strength, and Love your neighbor as yourself." We spend the weekend helping juniors and seniors explore their love of self, family, friends and Jesus.

The format, in general, is as follows: prayer, large group presentation by a student or adult team member, small group discussion, prayer and then we start all over again.
